Genre: Turn-based tactics

What it was:
Missile Command Delta is a reimagining of Atari’s 1980s missile defense arcade classic as a turn-based tactical game, for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC (Steam). Developed by Mighty Yell and 13AM Games. It will launch in 2025.

These cards are an aspect of the game's deck-building design component, where players find the cards both in the adventuring environment as well as pre-loaded on diagetic machines used during the tactics gameplay phase.

Overview

missiles-overview

Cards are intended to be played as units on a hex grid, intercepting missiles and tactically manipulating the field. Cards were developed after a rapid UX research phase, and are intended for maximum visual clarity so that players can track what units are in play, the timing of their effects, and their status within the turn-based sequence of the game.
